- Camera Scanner: Uses a high-resolution DALSA (Canada) color Line Scan Camera, combined with multiple laser light sources and a reliable operating system, to perform color sorting and quality grading for timber boards/strips.
- CS1800 4-Sided Color & Quality Grading Scanner: (Equipped with ejector mechanisms No. 1 to 8, customizable configuration).
- First, inspecting the rough (unplaned) surface for sorting: The flat surface and side face are divided into 2 ejection areas, then transferred to an external conveyor to feed into a double-side/thickness planer. In Figure (A), they are ejected at positions No. 1 and No. 2 respectively.
- Second, color sorting for Grade A timber: Based on primary color sorting principles, then categorized into different colors and ejected into corresponding areas at positions No. 3, 4, and 5.
- Third, color sorting for Grade AB timber: Mainly sorted into 2 color tones and ejected at positions No. 6 and No. 7.
- Fourth, sound knots (live knots) and Grade C timber: Ejected at position No. 8.
- Fifth, timber requiring re-processing/rework (cracks, edge/margin defects, sound knots…): Discharged at the final position at the end of the line.
