FULLY AUTOMATED INDUSTRIAL WOODEN DOOR STAGE
This is considered the final stage in completing the structure and appearance of a wooden door leaf. There are many methods and machine combinations available to create a finished product. However, production systems must be continuously upgraded and optimized to improve efficiency and profitability while minimizing labor usage and reducing operational costs.
In this article, Quoc Duy will introduce the most advanced fully automated door leaf finishing production line available today.
Since this is the finishing stage, we will skip the door frame manufacturing and door core structure processes. We will begin from the stage where the door leaf core has already been completed.

At this stage, the door leaf core frame is ready and will go through the following processes to complete the product:Understanding the Functions of Each Machine in the Finishing Stage
1. DOUBLE-SIDED DOOR LEAF GLUE SPREADING MACHINE
The door leaf core frame will be bonded with door surface panels. Depending on order requirements, these panels can be customized in quality and size. Before bonding, an adhesive layer must be applied onto the core frame.
In this production line, a double-sided glue spreading machine is used to save time, allowing coating in a single pass without flipping the workpiece. After glue application, the lower surface panel is pre-positioned at the output while operators place the upper panel before transferring the product to the hot press machine for bonding.

2. DOOR LEAF HOT PRESS MACHINE
The workpiece is transferred into the hot press machine where high temperature rapidly cures the adhesive, ensuring strong bonding between surface panels. The machine integrates an automatic loading and unloading system that allows automatic detection and operation.
Its major advantage is immediate adhesive curing after pressing, enabling the product to proceed directly to the next process without waiting time.

3. FOUR-SIDE DOOR TRIMMING MACHINE
Edge trimming ensures precise square dimensions. There are multiple trimming methods which will be discussed in another article. Here, we focus on automated production.
SM 4J2611 is an automatic machine capable of connecting with computer systems for automatic workpiece processing or manual size input. Large saw blades enable faster cutting with high surface smoothness.
After trimming, the door leaf can immediately proceed to the edge banding stage.

4. WOODEN DOOR EDGE BANDING MACHINE
Edge banding not only improves aesthetics but also protects the door from environmental impacts such as humidity, weather conditions, and termite damage.
At this stage, a multifunction automatic edge banding machine is used. All operations are automatically performed after parameter setup via the control screen.

5. DOOR LOCK & HINGE CNC MACHINING CENTER
The automatic CNC machine for lock and hinge processing is designed for electronic hotel door locks and various locking systems. Lock plates and hinges can be machined according to door edge angles.
After machining completion, finished door leaves are transferred out via conveyor and stacking systems.
